We enjoyed sampling a few of the flavors in this teeny, tiny store before making our final choice. It’s convenient as a side trip to Pinel Island. They only take cash, and you can find the product at other stores on the island.

If you are spending a few days on the island, don’t miss this gem of a secret place. Don’t shop at the regular tourist spots. Go to this shop for the best selection of rum, vanilla and cooking additives. You will not be disappointed, the selection is excellent and the best prices on the island, guaranteed. Just go!!!!!

Very nice coloured shack, pretty difficult to find. But a must-see, if you are on the island.
Every rum bottle is beautifully hand-painted. You can buy rum in different sizes and bottles, marmalade and many more little presents. A nice lady is running the shop and offers you a little shot of all the different tastes.

We stayed up the hill from Ma Doudou and stopped in to check it out one day. It's a great little shop with beautiful hand-painted bottles of rum and a few other products (spices, and sauces). My favourite was the Passion Fruit rum! I also picked up a few sauces that I can't wait to try.
The shop is not that difficult to find if you have a good gps map and the rums are much cheaper at the shop than buying them in various stores on the island and duty free so save yourself a few dollars and make the short drive to Cul-de-Sac.
The shop owner was very nice as well.

Such a small a cute rhum spot on the French side of the island - very nice lady operating the shop (she said it has been moved here to the French Cul-de-sac post Irma from Philipsburg as that location is now closed) that is pretty much hidden in this residential area of St Martin; plenty to try and plenty to appreciate whether you are into rums or not
TIP: cash only, bottles are glass and plastic, both beautifully hand painted and rhums are nice too (not a big fan of flavored rhums but its the art piece that attracted me here in the first place); perfect for a souvenir from the the French side
TIP: google maps gave the correct directions despite it looking as if you were going into someone's house :) you do pass a small community gate before you enter it - very unusual location but worth the short drive from either Grand Case or Orient Bay

Found by accident while ducking out of the rain. Corner of Back Street and Old Street in Philipsburg. The flavoured rums are great and the bottle art makes it that much more special. They also have perfumes/cologne and local spices.

These are a little unique treasure to bring home from St Martin. What a beautiful place to visit and rum and rum punch is a local must when visiting. I brought two of these back home but wish now I had brought more.

Sorry for the delayed response! The store in Philipsburg is at 116 Old Street, the street opposite of the Ralph Lauren store. And the shack where they make it, on the French side, is at Lot 45, Green Gate 123, Cul de Sac, 97150. I as well purchased mine from a corner liquor store in Philipsburg, not far from their main store, for a lower price, and they offered to deliver it to the ship.

I do believe Gift World is open everyday. The little place on the French side where they make the rum is not open on Sundays. Best bet and easiest place to find it quickly will be Gift World. Also they sell two beers and a cigar for $2.99 👍😄 Anita is Juggie's wife. He has the smallest bar in the world across from Little Switzerland down a small alleyway off Front Street. Also 2 beers and a cigar for $2.99. Great fun chatting with Juggie and learning lots of stuff. A definite stop when in Phillipsburg

Trying to budget for our upcoming cruise and I know I want to buy the rum for gifts for friends and family. Can anyone tell me the size and prices of the bottles. Also if anyone has visited on a cruise out of San Juan how did you get them back home?

The bottles vary in size from small airplane type to large 750 ml bottles. If you're on a budget the hip flask size are your best bet, and I think they were three for $30 or so.

They have all sorts of flavored Rhum. Not sure I saw a chocolate one - but wouldn't be surprised if they did have it. We purchased Banana-Vanilla and it is DELICIOUS and also a Coconut Flavored that my husband thinks is the best. In addition to Thum they have great flavorings and fantastic spreads and jellies.
