We did this today and had an awesome time. We were the only couple aboard, so a total of 4 including the pilot and guide. We really liked that aspect and can't imagine it being packed. This gave us the opportunity to freely move from side to side whenever we wanted. Michaela was very knowledgable and pointed out everything to us. The water was a tad murky, due to recent storms, but not their fault. Definitely would recommend it!

It was so exciting to go down 100 feet to the bottom of Discovery Bay and see the different fish and coral.
I was expecting it to be clearer than it was, but I have never scuba dived before so I got to see what experienced divers would see.
I am very glad I did it and would recommend anyone to try it but I wouldn't do it again.

We didn't get to see much in all honesty but it was different and kids will love the certificate you get at the end. Only 4 people on our trip which meant you could move from side-to-side, not sue if it would have been as good if every window had a person as it would quite limit what you could see.

Great tour would do it again, crew was very friendly and welcoming, the ride out to the Submarine was short and the Island view to the submarine was excellent. Feeling safe by the crew excellent job guys.

As submarine tours go they are nearly all the same in what ever country you go to, but as my children were too young to remember we last went on the tour We went again. While we waited for the other people on the beach to arrive I had to fill in yet another waiver form for everyone.
Once completed we were then given complimentary soft drinks as the other people we were waiting for didn't show up. So we boarded to boat which gave a quick tour of where (very fortunate people) are living or staying. The tours guides very good trying to gee us to get excited for a thrill of a lifetime trip (or it could of been had much more thought put into it)
As we boarded the submarine we had to climb down the ladder so if you have bad knees or back this trip is definitely not for you. The guides said sub could take at least 22 people but if they did that not everybody would be able to see out the windows/ports proper, you'd be pushing other people out the way as when you see thing in sea you move quickly to the window or they're gone forever. We were introduced to more staff, they explained about the safety features of the sub in the event of an emergency. Off we went "dive, dive, dive" we went in search of life at the bottom of the bay. I say the Bay because we didn't go to the bottom the sea. The things with these submarine tours you never know what you're going to get or see once you're in the water. We managed to see a few fishes & lobsters. With that in mind with not activity going on, on the bottom of the Bay I would thought the Sub would start venturing out to further into sea to see more Sea life. But alas it was not to be instead our trip underwater came to an end after only 45 minutes & not the hour that was advertised. Disappointed yes, but the children loved it because they actually saw something that was on Finding Nemo, Shark Tale or The Little Mermaid.
Hence my title "Could do better" if there's not activity where you might expect activity move to a different spot or go deeper, the deeper you go the more activity you'll find.
So if they are happy I'm happy.

They have this one right.
I don't normally write reviews. This one is noteworthy.
The beach facility is gorgeous and if you have the time spend the day using the beach and snack bar that is there. Quite the fun day excursion and the guides are very knowledgeable about the undersea life and what we saw.
Friendly Staff
Amazing dive took us to almost 150'.
My son even got an official "submariner" certificate.
If I could give more stars - I would.

I never thought in a million years that I'd ever get to ride in a submarine! We found the leaflet at our hotel and thought we'd give it a go. We set sail from Discovery Bay (not Ocho Rios as described on the leaflet) after having received a safety briefing, then headed out to the submarine, which is docked in a moon pool attached to a boat. We entered the submarine via a vertical ladder (elderly & infirm may find this bit difficult) and took our seats next to a porthole. We dived about 160feet (& got a certificate at the end to prove it!) The sub travelled along the bottom of the sea and we were shown various corals and fish. The only issue is that the coral is dying as the bay had recently been dredged to allow huge container ships in to the harbour. Our guides told us that they are trying to grow new coral and replace that which had died. If you get the chance to take the tour from Ocho Rios, then I understand that would be much better as their coral reefs are not dying. Thoroughly enjoyable experience though which I doubt I'll have the chance to do again!

This attraction was not at all what we expected. It starts out when they drop you off at this old run down park. From there they take you on a boat ride out to your submarine. The submarine ride was not that interesting. Alls we saw was a lot of little fish. No turtles, no sharks. Just some little fish. No air conditioner. Very stuffy once inside. Didn't go as deep as they advertised.

Booked the trip before we arrived through Facebook messenger. Slight pricing glitch on arrival but was quickly sorted out to our satisfaction. Tour was fun.. Never been in a sub before .. Visibility would have been better if not for current dredging operations. Supposed to end soon. Great pickup and delivery service provided by Riley tours. Kemrod is good and we would recommend his service.
A definite must do on the list of attractions.

This was a very interesting and unique experience for us. We'd never thought that we would get to ride in a submarine!
The tour was very well done. Our guides on the submarine were Howaine and Trecin and they were both fantastic but there are a lot of people working together to make this happen and they were all very pleasant and a lot of fun.
The tour is a very new attraction and is very poorly advertised so I will try and give a brief description of what to expect.
First of all, it is not in Ocho Rios and it does not visit a sunken WWII ship.
It is now in Discovery Bay.
When you arrive they run through a short safety video and then load everyone onto a boat to head out to the submarine, which is docked in the moon pool of a nearby boat. One by one you enter the sub and choose a seat. There are two long benches on either side with viewing windows in front of each seat. Everyone gets settled and the guides explain how the tour will go and the sub backs out of the moon pool and then dives to over 100'. The tour lasts around an hour and you travel along the bottom looking at corals and fish. Divers come up to the windows and interact with you and the guides point out and explain everything we pass.
After the tour the boat takes you on a short tour of the bay and explains the attractions on shore.
The attractions on shore could use some work but the tour is new and I'm sure that will come with time.
The only other downsides are if you have mobility issues it could be hard to climb the ladder in and out of the submarine and if you are claustrophobic you might have issues. The interior felt big to us but our tour was only about half booked.
It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.
