We did a Basic Diver intro class with Dive Bequia and it truly was an amazing experience! A MUST DO when you're in Bequia. We went to Devil's Table and we saw thousands of colorful fish and marine animals.
Our instructor was Chelle; she was AMAZING! She is incredibly patient and her instructions were very clear. She guided us throughout the whole process and made sure we were safe. We loved the first dive so much that we ended up doing a second one with her!:)
Don't hesitate to book your dive with this diving center, you will not be disappointed!

I did my SSI training and got certified with Chelle at Dive Bequia — it was fantastic. They are all so great to work with — a super team — and Chelle is a fantastic teacher. She took the time to explain things when I didn't understand, and she went above and beyond to just chat about questions I had beyond the scope of the class. Also, they were very cool about my husband having to drop out because of an injury and refunded part of the money for his training. Best is I just felt very safe with them. Very professional. And the reefs are amazing — so many fish. We saw a giant green moray eel, ray, barracuda, sea turtle, and a couple of fascinating wrecks.

There are only two dive shops that we found in Bequia and both are just a few feet apart along the narrow Belmont Walkway along the harbor. We did our research online and found that both seemed adequate for our one week of diving.
Dive Bequia was a bit more expensive than Dive Adventures, but we felt that they had a better boat. Dive Bequia's boat was larger and able to accompany more people with more room and it had a larger overhead tarp to protect against the sun.
Both appeared to have a good shop and staff when researching online, but the edge went to Dive Bequia. Although we would pay more going with Dive Bequia, we felt we would get more.
We couldn't be happier. The staff was excellent. Tristan and Kallie were outstanding dive masters on the trips out to the reefs. They catered to us and the other clients so well. They ensured our safety and listened to our preferences for the dives. Their skills and attitude would transfer well to any dive operation anywhere.
If I could offer one thought about the boat operations, it would be to use a trailing line or safety line at the stern of the boat when retrieving divers from the water after their dives. There was one time that I think I could have used such a line after surfacing from a dive. Although we are experienced divers, we are in our 70's.
Still, I give this dive operation 5 stars, but only because Trip Advisor doesn't allow me to give it 6 stars.

Having just completed our PADI Open Water certification with the superb Dive Bequia, I cannot commend them highly enough. Fantastic communication throughout, with great initial advice to complete the theory e-learning and confined water pool sessions at home in the UK before departure.
As complete novices to ocean diving, Chelle took us both under her wing and patiently led us through the four open water dives and the associated competency tests required to gain the qualification. Whilst remaining light-hearted, Chelle was extremely rigorous and professional in her instruction and assessments, which gave us huge confidence in a very different environment.
The whole Dive Bequia team are to be commended for their operation, which is supremely professional, meticulously organised and uses the most up-to-date equipment. Our two post-qualification fun dives were simply breathtaking!
If following in our path, please choose Dive Bequia, you will not be disappointed! :)

Sadly I had a poor experience earlier this month.
I informed them that my last dive was four years ago.Unfortunately prior to the dive, there were no safety checks on my PCR, regulator or briefing prior to the dive nor any buddy system in place.
I had issues descending in the first 5 minutes and was therefore returned to the boat by Tristram having received no advice or support. 40 minutes later the other three divers returned.
Maybe I was unfortunate but surely a pre- dive check is essential.
As a medic, I was concerned about the lack of safety procedures on this occasion.

Absolutely loved my dive experience with Dive Bequia! It’s the perfect place to advance your diving capabilities as I did, having just completed my AOW cert through SSI with them. The professionalism of the Dive Bequia team was outstanding. They ensured everything ran smoothly, from gear prep to dive planning, making me feel completely at ease. The dive sites are beautiful, teeming with vibrant marine life and stunning coral formations. A special shoutout to Chelle, the instructor, she was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we had an incredible time while staying safe. I learned a ton and can’t wait to go for some more specialties with her. And let's not forget the awesome team (Max, Triston, Nikki and Cathy) at Dive Bequia—everyone is always friendly, helpful, and dedicated to making my and everyone else’s dive experience unforgettable. Once again Dive Bequia exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to dive with them again!

I highly recommend Dive Bequia. After a less than positive experience in St Lucia I tried again with these guys. They totally ‘get’ nervous divers and Chelle and Triston both gave me so much time and support to do all the exercises that I was able to achieve my open water qualification relatively easily. Chelle also really opened my eyes to the joy of diving and I can’t wait to do my next dive! Their equipment is new or in very good condition and the whole team are super-friendly.

We love Dive Bequia! We took the online course, shallow water work, and then the fantastic dives in Bequia for the Open Water Diver requirements. Chelle is a wonderful teacher and very organized. It was a great experience with so much to see on our dives!

Simply incredible diving business, super friendly and professionally outstanding...we would highly recommend! We started basic diving and couldn't resist progressing with the open water dive course, thanks to amazi g dive instructor Chelle, who earned our trust within minutes, as we soaked up her amazing tuition opening up the underwater world in such a clear, chill and fun way!! Grateful for the friendliest Dive Bequia team from boat captains to instructors - Thank You!

Is there anyone who could send me the coordinates of Brown's bay? Reviews were referring to that diving spot, but I can not find a map that shows its location.

Sorry I didn't see you post. Tripadvisor isn't something I check in on. I don't have the coordinates but if you look on a map Brown's Bay is between NW Point and Cinnamon Garden
