We visited on our cruise on January 11, 2023 and purchased 1.24 carat diamond earrings and a Citizen watch. We traded in the diamond earrings I was wearing to “bring down” my purchase price. I was promised they would send an appraisal which I never received. I finally got around to appraising the earrings back in the US. My earrings appraised at $2495. I dug my receipt out from January and was given a “great deal” at $3995. As embarrassing as this is - I’d rather save someone else the disappointment. I have Harry D’s business card. He sure seemed like a lovely person that day. If I add the retail of the watch and earrings together I lost $1000 and my own diamond earrings. I have all my records to support this review. Beware!

Dear Jenny B, please allow me the time to introduce myself, my name is Raj L. and I am the general manager for Ballerina Jewelers. I am sorry to hear about your disappointment with us and I would like to personally assist you and see how to make things right. But before doing so, I would like to justify the transaction at hand, as we have been established in St. Maarten for over 35 years and as you can tell by our track record, we have a very strong reputation. On January 11th 2023, Harry D. sold you a pair of diamond studs totaling 1.41cts. but what is not mentioned on the receipt is that the pair was a certified pair of diamonds by the European Gemological Laboratory and the Citizen watch you purchased was a Limited Caribbean Edition. We are surprised that the purchase was made in January 2023 and you did not contact us until November 2023. We strive to give our customers service that is second to none. This is an unfortunate matter but rest assured we will do our best to help you. Please email us the appraisal to infosxm@ballerina-jewelers.com; that you have from the jeweler and I will reach out today to discuss and hope to resolve this situation.
Once again, we apologize for any bad feeling you may have but we stand behind our sales and products and will do what is necessary to keep you happy.

Beautifull product great service! Usually deal with Kenny… he was away so Joe stepped in and treated us like family! I was looking for a specific piece of jewelry and Joe went above to be sure I found what I was looking for.

This was are best find on the Island for Jewelry. We have been into SXM many times and may have walked by but this time we walked in and wow. The style and quality of the jewelry was just amazing. We did purchase some very nice bracelets. We like finding unique items and this is the place. Thanks JAJ.

I have traveled the world and purchased jewelry from the Islands to Europe. Mac Lani is the most amazing person in this business. I left my ring with him years ago to repair. I walked into his shop and he recognized me AND remembered my name. The ring is beautiful and I will only buy from this store! I love my new ring!

I have been shopping with Ballerina for many years and have never been disappointed with the quality, price, or service. they have amazing and unique jewelry pieces that you will not find anywhere else. they have also made some beautiful custom pieces for me and my family. They always provide the best service . I always work with Kenny he is the best and very trustworthy, he always takes thorough care and spends so much time with me to make sure I am getting the best.

Ballerina is the best of the best in the jewelry industry! 🏝 My family has been loyal customers over the past 35 years! The owner, Mike, is a wonderfully caring person who always has great recommendations aligned to my personal needs! Our last visit/purchase was perfect thanks to the awesome help of Deepak and Mike! Diamonds, Tanzanite, and Longines watches are of excellent quality.💎 Ballerina should be everyone’s first and only jewelry stop in St. Maarten! ❤️ 🛍

My husband and I have bought jewelry from Ballerina since 2003. We unexpectedly (isn’t that how it often happens) visited to “look” and left with an upgrade on several diamond items, I couldn’t be happier.
Ballerina has always been trustworthy, quality, alongside best price shopping experience / our daughters joined us in the trip and also made out well. This experience at Ballerina with Raji ( I think that is the spelling) is memorable.
We’ve never shopped elsewhere while in st Maarten for diamonds or watches because this is the only place we know we will get best quality with best price and service.
Ballerina has always been trustworthy, quality, alongside best price shopping experience / our daughters joined us in the trip and also made out well. This experience at Ballerina with Raji ( I think that is the spelling) is memorable.

we were looking for a very special piece for are daughters wedding present. the guy who served us so patient so help full. the bracelet was purfect . all paper work came like promised. Had it valued at home very good value. could not recommend them enough

I bought a pair of rose gold diamond hoop earrings at Ballerina in December of 2013. I love those earrings. Unfortunately, I lost one in June. If I photograph the remaining earring and send the photo to Ballerina, could they check their inventory to see if they still carry the earring? If so, could I buy a replacement?

My husband bought me a tanzanite bracelet at your store in St Thomas.We dealt with Danny there. One of the stones has fallen out. I will be in St Marteen in March and wondered if I brought the bracelet there if you could put the stone back in.My husband, Jesse Holman, passed away in Oct., 2014. Thank you.

Is it possible to send pictures of a ring I have and have it redone? I would rather get an estimate before I bring this ring on vacation with me - I don't want to risk losing it or misplacing it if I don't intend to have it redone. It was a gift from my grandparents however the workmenship is really bad so I would like to have it redesigned into something I would actually wear..
