In order to limit access the bathrooms are outside port-a-potties. Not much to see. As usual the reason for the limited to no access is Covid.

Very modest visitor center compared to most others which we have visited in the National Park system. We stopped here to get the requisite stamp for our National Parks passport book. There is a small selection of merchandise for purchase. The other main reason we stopped here was to get current information on hiking conditions. Appreciated the information from the ranger which set us on our way to hike at Avalanche Lake.

This is a very large center near the West Glacier entrance.
We stopped here several times during our visit to the park for the shops and the information center. The building is closed because of Covid, but Park Rangers were there to answer questions and offer suggestions.
We found plenty of parking and clean restrooms.

This is not very crowded. You can get park information here and take a stop. It is near the park entrance. Due to Covid the inside is closed but you can get help outside.

Best to stop in here if you have any questions about anything park-related, or even if you just need to use the bathroom and/or fill up your water bottle(s). Staff members are friendly and helpful.

Family of 4. Stopped to see if we could get our kid's Nat'l Park 'Passports' stamped. They had pre-printed stamps on little squares of paper to eventually place in their 'Passports', not ideal, but understood considering the Pandemic and all - not wanting multiple people touching the one stamp.
They had a tent outside the closed building selling Glacier Nat'l Park goods. Staff was friendly. Ranger was super helpful with helping us choose our hike.

Apgar was our jumping off point all 3 days we visited the park as we used the parks public transportation to access the trailheads we hiked those particular days. For the most part it is your typical National Park Visitor Center.
The center and the restrooms were clean and it was well maintained. Wifi was available and worked for us each time we used it.
All three days we arrived prior to the center opening, but visited after we returned from the days activities. They have a small gift shop and prices seemed nominal. They also had activities for the kids and several exhibits regarding the park.
As so many have mentioned the Rangers were always helpful and we ran into a number of volunteers who went out of their way to help as well.
This is a great first place to visit when entering the park.

This is a great stop as you begin your venture into the park. It is a comfortable and fairly new facility. Better than other rest stops up into Glacier.

This is a much smaller visitor center than I expected given the size of the park. That being said, there is a lot of information available and definately worth a stop especially if you are entering the park from the west side. You can gather a great deal of information from the displays just outside of the visitor center, including up to date parking information. Save yourself the headache and check the parking and if it's full at Logan Pass, take the shuttle from here. Rangers and volunteers are avaialble to answer your questions and there is a small book store operated by the Glacier Conservancy. It does get quite busy here and can be crowded inside.

I have booked a Red Bus Tour that departs at 2 PM. Will there be parking spaces in the visitor center at that time of day? What about 10 AM?

We will be in Glacier, staying at Hungry Horse on 12th - 13th August. I'm trying to see if we can book any Ranger-led hikes / walks or find walking maps to enable us to do Grinnell Glacier and Iceberg Lake trail. Are these easily signposted? Help!

What would be a transportation option from the entrance of the park to the Apgar Center?

The Apgar visitor center is the first place you get to when you drive into the park.
I will be taking an Uber or Taxi from Kalispell to Glacier National Park. If I am dropped outside the entrance, how far a walk is it to Apgar Visitor Center?

Check to see if there is a free shuttle. Too far to walk.
