We have been to Hume Lake Campground many times, just because it offers you everything you need for your outdoors adventure. Hiking, fishing, swimming, sightseeing, etc. It also has the convenience of being close to the Christian Camps, where you can buy groceries or other camping items that you may have left at home. The lake itself is not very big, but it is perfect for recreation, swimming is excellent. For fishing the best place is where the creek goes into the lake, make sure you go there early in the morning, later on you won't be able to fish, due to the crowds that go swimming. In the campground, we stayed in various sites but the best are the ones by the lake, #64, #65, they are very large and you can see the lake from your table. See the attached photos of site #65. Flush toilets with washing sinks are a blessing, they make your stay more comfortable. The only thing that will add to your stress are the Park Rangers. They are very strict here. They will give you a ticket for crossing the double line, for speeding, for not extinguishing the fire in the correct way, for taking the dog on the hiking trail, and so on. So, be very careful!…
