We waited in line for a double tube for one of the slides. It took a while, but it was to be expected. We had to run on your bridge to get to the slide entrance. The sprinkler was not working and my child’s feet were burning. I nearly slipped on the steps because they did not have any traction. The man behind me also nearly tripped. This is a hazard that is easily fixed.
As a result of my child’s feet being burned, my child needed to sit for 2-3 minutes. He was crying and upset. We put our feet on the tube so that our feet would not further burn. I advised him that he needed to get up soon because people would be waiting for a tube. I am very courteous and aware of surroundings in this way.
A woman and her small child came up. The woman quickly tries to steal the tube from under my feet. I politely told her “no, this is our tube.”. She tried to aggressively steal the tube a second time and I told her this was not her tube. She then told me that the lifeguard told her to take the tube and was beeping at us. Any beeping I heard seemed to be directed to the swimmers, but it is possible I did not see or hear that directed towards me. I have a slight hearing impairment as an ex-diver. No lifeguards had come up to me.
This lady was adamant that this was now her tube. With her hand on i again, and mine, I took it away and firmly told her NO! She would not even let me wait another few moments for my child and her physical proximity was showing she was about to steal it again!!! I went, with my crying child towards the slide. When we had went down the slide, my child bounced and his head hit the slide. He remained on the tube, but was crying a bit as he was getting off. As I was exiting the pool, I saw the lady in the line making fun of us with the “crazy” hand motions towards her child. I told her that I saw what she did and I also told her I thought she in fact was the crazy one.
We were ready to go after this and I was feeling heated. This was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. This did not need to happen. I went to gather our belongs to leave. The lady had gotten a tube and we crossed paths again. She gave me rude looks, said horrible things, and then stalked me from behind as if she was ready to physically attack me. I walked away quickly to get my child out of the situation.
This could have all been avoided if the lifeguards had the proper training to not appoint managerial duties to unhinged mentally unstable customers.
I’ve seen the lifeguards let their friends jump the fence to get in, blatantly, in front of customers. I’ve also had lifeguards hit on me in front of my child, saying “damn girl” as I go down the slide. I’ve kept my mouth shut about this because I don’t like to complain about things. No more covering for the lifeguards behavior from me. This situation almost resulted in physical violence with a mentally unwell person.
I emailed the company but did not receive a response. Figures.

I almost cancelled a visit with my visiting grandkids because of the awful reviews, but I am so glad I didn't! Please check my other reviews, and you will see that I give honest reviews, so when I say that I found the park to be clean, well kept, and safe, you can count on it! There were LOTS of lifeguards, and they were on top of everything from a kid struggling just a bit coming off a slide to the rowdy teens getting a bit rambunctious. I was impressed, there was no hesitation to intervene, and that really made me feel that my grandkids were safe. We got the Big Deal, which is admission, unlimited drinks, and a combo lunch for $40- totally worth it! The food was fresh, well prepared, and not greasy. They chose cheeseburgers that turned out to be double cheeseburgers served hot, and more than the kids could eat. We spent 4 hours there, which was more than enough for this grandma! Overall, it was really a great day!

My 8-year-old twins, my niece, and my sister-in-law all got impetigo (staph infections) from our visit last week. They had to be hospitalized they are so bad. Waterpark is gross and dirty. I can't get a response back from anyone and had to contact FL Dept of Heatlh. Now I know why they advertise cheap tickets. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I do not live too far from this place though my last visit to the water park was about 4 years ago. Ownership has since changed from the city to Pro Parks, and it’s apparent that this place does not care about Sunsplash. The park has some merit. The slides it has are nice albeit unspectacular and fairly typical water park attractions. The lazy river is well-landscaped and the tallest body slides kept the line moving well. Ultimately, there isn’t anything here that can’t be experienced at nearly any other water park, especially in Florida, and the park lacks any standout attractions that would make it especially worth visiting. The abundance of wasps and pre-teens throwing full water bottle at the ground from the tops of the stairwells were also somewhat frightening and should be noted. The $36 fee for non-residents is frankly absurd for what you get, so I’d only recommend going if you’re a local or you get a major discount.

Rented a cabana with friends which really helped out since it supplied wait staff to bring food & we had to keep sitting out due to weather. The lines for food and drink were very long. Still took over an hour to receive our meals and the order was incomplete.
Biggest complaint was there were NO floats for lazy River or to ride the slides.
Years ago the lazy River was full of floats. Now kids just run through the lazy River knocking younger kids over. Also you have to wait a long time for a float to go down the other slides. Over all it could be a good time if they put some up keep back into it.

Way over PRICED NOT ENOUGH FLOAT for the lazy river or slides you would thing they would have enough with the price the charge. I would rather go to Sun n Fun in Naples much cheaper and nicer and they don't charge to park

The slides were okay but they had us going in and out of the water all day even though there was no indication of bad weather or any other mishaps (not that they told us what was wrong either). A few hours in they told us they were closing (almost three hours early) and we had to leave. But we hadn’t gotten all that we had paid for like food or ice cream so we asked if there was any compensation. They said no but you could use the wristbands another day. We explained we don’t live anywhere near the area and they basically said well that sucks and that’s it. The lifeguards were also only present half the time and we saw kids jumping into bodies of water with no supervision and going down massive slides when all the lifeguards were recalled into one building. Highly unsafe.

Hadn't been here for several years. Now managed by outside company. If you go, need to arrive at park at opening or you will find yourself without a sun chair, no tub for lazy river . Long lines for even beverages. Packed park. Kids in lazy river with plastic cups. Guards don't address the issues. People entering lazy river walking over burms entering on the side. Will not go back even if free.

Smaller water park that was fun. Approximately 8 different ride/ slides plus lazy river. We bought tickets online as I believe there was a discount. Approx $32. per person adult. Got to park, pretty much got right in. Not very long lines. We were there on a Saturday. Of the 8 slides they would have 2-3 options when at the ride. Rides went pretty smooth. Spent most of day and rode everything many times. Park I would say is good for a day maybe 2 at most. Not something you would want to do over and over again as limited slides. Lazy river is ok, could use some more tubes, but you can go around without tube which is fine.
Park is ok but I could see if changes dont happen it could get dirty.

Giving it a 4 because we had a lot of fun, BUT…there were some issues. We arrived (on vacation) at 11 when the park opened, having previously bought tickets online. Were told only 1/2 the rides were open until 2. We made the best of it but the 2 slides and small pool area that were open were PACKED with too many people. The remaining 2 slides opened at 3pm and the lazy river opened at 2. Not enough tubes for lazy River or slides, we waited over 30 minutes for a tube to ride a slide and then waited in line for the slide. All said and done, we were there from 11-5 and rode everything at least once and child was happy and had a great day. So…I call that a win! I just really think the park needs to state that only half the park is opening ON THE WEBSITE and allow discounted tickets to be bought online. We were told we will receive 1/2 our money back but it has not shown up on CC card yet.

I don't think so, but I'm not certain either way. We brought our own as it appeared most other people did as well. They do have a page on their website showing their food policy, exiting/re-entering the park, etc. You may check there.
If we were to buy tickets ahead of time for June 2,2018 and if the weather is bad and we're able to go on that day would we still be able to use those same tickets on a different day?
No I'm not a robot

Hi I don't know, but since the weather has been rain, and more rain here, they must have some sort of rain check! You can call them to see.
